Former Royal Hotel in Braidwood
Former Royal Hotel
Former Unknown Name Hotel
The Pub highlighted to the right of the Braidwood Hotel was built in 1845. As a Pub the building was used as an Oddfellows meeting hall.
It is now the museum. There was an agreement that that hotel would close when the Braidwood Hotel was built. Then, some years later the license was reactivated in the other hotel in town, whose name was changed from royal hotel to royal mail hotel when they filmed Ned Kelly.
Information from Kate. Publican of the Braidwood Hotel. Many Thanks
