Say Gday to Publican Liane.
Bistro is open 7 days and nights
The Brushgrove Hotel was built in 1868, lifted, a bar built underneath, That's the history of the Brushgrove in a nutshell. The location next to the Clarence River and the verandah setting is something that you have to see for yourself. And that's not hard as the Pub is only a kilometre off the Highway.
So don't drive by. The food is very good with a terrific wine selection and the locals would recommend the "salt and pepper calamari". A la' Carte dining in the restaurant is very pleasant indeed.
"We have fresh from the trawler prawns, barramundi with mango slices and herb butter, steaks and all fruit, vegetable, meat and seafood products are fresh." - Liane
You will also really enjoy the riverside beer garden. Sit right on the bank or under a Palm. Pub was renovated in 2007 and welcomes new publicans Dean and Liane Kay,
