The Royal Hotel in Bungendore was opened in 1886 by John McMahon in 1880 as "Macs Royal Hotel" and has been continuously licensed ever since. The Pub took over from the "old Royal Terrace" in Turalto Crescent. A 16 room building, still at the back of the Royal which served from 1958. It is now a private residence and still looks good. The Royal Hotel in Bungendore was opened in 1886 by John McMahon in 1880 as "Macs Royal Hotel" and has been continuously licensed ever since.
