There was a pub on that site in the 1880's and it was called the Captain Cook Hotel. The Student Prince closed in June 2001 and was on the market for quite a while. It had DA for conversion to a brothel. An Asian syndicate bought the site and spent well over $3.5 million and it is now a very high class knocking shop. The grand opening was earlier this year.

The transformation to Stilletos
The building on the left collapsed in 2002 and had to be demolished, luckily it happened on a Sunday and no one was injured.
