Originally a timber building, brickwork was added and later the Public bar was moved to an extension. The old Public Bar is now the "Old Bar Restaurant" with some good home style cooking and great roasts. A feature of the Pub is the beer garden which fronts the Richmond River with a BBQ and boat ramp available. A huge old Moreton Bay Fig provides the shade. The old ferry used to run nearby before the bridge over the Richmond River was built. A good old hospitable country Pub with terrific facilities.
