Federal Hotel (Squealing Pig)
Federal Hotel
"Like the City View, this hotel was also built to fit a very sharp triangular site. Francis Sullivan applied for a licence for a hotel on this site in 1906 but was refused. However Mary O'Sullivan received a licence the following year and the hotel opened in August 1907.
In the late 90's the Federal Hotel had an internal renovation into an irish themed pub and renamed "The Squealing Pig"
theFederal has a very large Bottle Shop."
