If you are here on Friday night you can try your luck in the Raffles. Just across the road the Proston Library has lots of history and photo's of the Proston Area

The Golden Spurs Hotel was built in 1966 to replace the Terminus Hotel which was destroyed by fire that year. There are some great historical photo's of the Pub and area on the walls. The locals told us that the area is Queenslands best kept secret and they might be right. Good tucker at the Golden Spurs with ample servings. Very nice. Visitors come to the area for Boondooma Lake and the Fossicking at Cloyna and a stop at the Local Pub is always on the agenda. Mad if you don't and you might just strike a local live entertainment night.
