After a great drive up to the top of Arthurs Seat stopping at all the lookout points to see across the entire length of Port Phillip Bay, its nice to drop in for a coffee or beverage at the Arthurs Hotel positioned right on the top of the mountain.

Adjacent to the Arthurs Seat tower and monumental chair ("The Seat"), you'll find a hotel that commands one of the best scenic views from a dining table you'll find around the coast. You are practically on the edge of Arthurs Seat, looking down over the townships of McCrae, Rosebud, Dromana and the nearby Martha's Cove marina.

On a clear day, you can see right out beyond the Rip (the mouth of the Bay) out to Bass Straight, with the whole southern tip of the Mornington Peninsula in between. And on the far side to the west, you can see Queenscliff around to Port Arlington with the You Yangs mountains way out to the west. And in between? The expansiveness of what is Port Phillip Bay.
