Former Native Youth Hotel
Situated at the end of the main street of Birregurra, opposite the park and just before you cross the creek bridge, is the former Native Youth Hotel.
It was built in the late 1860's as a Cobb and Co stopover. Served as a coffee palace and boarding house prior to World War 11. It is now a private residence, but in good condition and worth a look as you travel south to Forrest, out of town towards the Otway National Park. Also currently being renovated.
It was unlicenced in 1921.
