Moyhu Hotel
The Moyhu Hotel is on the road that heads south into the King Valley which sits between Wangaratta and Mansfield.
Of note, is Carl Schulz. A plaque, in the Carl Schulz Reserve built opposite the hotel in his honour reads:
.... 'Erected May 1999 in Memory of Carl Schulz who lived in Moyhu from the early 1890's to 1922 and owned the Moyhu Hotel most of that time.
He rebuilt the hotel, then a bakery, doctor's residence, the first Public Hall and saleyards, and planted many trees.
Recognition of this pioneering work was a "partnership for growth" initiative between the State Government, the Moyhu Lions Club and the Rural City of Wangaratta.....'
- Accommodation - "The Moyhu Hotel offers recently renovated rooms that are unique, comfortable and well appointed with magnificent antique French Oak beds, polished wood flooring and genuine country pub experience and atmosphere.
