Completely Burnt out on the night of May 22nd 2010. Fire brigades attended but were unable to prevent the destruction by fire of this old wooden building C 1920's. The Hotel was due for demolition and redevelopment to a 5 Star hotel
From 2008:
* Located directly opposite the Cowes Pier which has the ferry over to Stony Point on the Mornington Peninsula
- Built in the 1930s, this icon has been the centre of attraction for Cowes ever since.
- NOTE: the Hotel is being re-developed after March/April 2008, so this icon may be the last few pictures!
- Surrounded by great ocean views, beachfront, and views across the bay to the mainland.
