Sam Knott Hotel in Wesburn
Sam Knott Hotel
Sam Knott Hotel
Formerly known as the Warburton Hotel, licensed 1863.
Now this is just one of those great pubs you have to explore and enjoy!
The decor, facilities and pubobilia are an absolute credit to the owners.
Famous for its featured carvings, photos and illustrations of Sam Knott (marketing image featured as the face of Carlton Ale over 100 years ago).
Sam Knott's 'own local' was right here at the formerly known Warburton Hotel, in Wesburn.
Features include a carved figure outside the bottleshop, and great mirrors and menu signs in the fine dining rooms.
The hotel is well furnished with great fireside tables in the lounge, and the bars and serving areas are built to resemble a verandahed outback premise - great look!
Entered easiest from the northern end, with plenty of parking at the rear, this hotel offers something for everyone.

Make this a "must stop" be it for a fine meal towards the end of your trip into the Warburton area - or just a nice fine ale on a warm day (or a refresher by the fire in winter periods).
It's a treat anytime! - highly recommended. (Gaz)
