Whim Creek Pub
Whim Creek Pub
The Only Building left standing in town.
"Whim Creek Pub is fairly remote and i believe it used to quench the thirst of the miners from the nearby mine. Apparently the mine has closed down and the pub is looked after by a caretaker of the mine. It operates on limited hours and was closed when I was there. Aussie Outback Gary Franklin"
Was known as Delaney's Public House in the late 1800's. At the time of the gold rush in 1887 the other Pub in town was known as Dunns Public House to be later renamed the Federal Hotel.
