Woomargama Village Hotel Motel
A few icy cold beers were enjoyed here.
"Woomargama Hotel was always a great midway stop when travelling out of Canberra (year's ago) late on a Friday heading for Melbourne next day. I have fond memories of arriving late into the evening there, and the publican would always have a big open fire roaring away, icy cold beer to welcome you in, and a well priced motel room available with next mornings quick breakfast already for quick get away to reach Melbourne by noon.
A very nice country pub to be sure! And the August 2008 visit brought all those memories back - the fire was on, the beer was great, except this time we were heading north from Melbourne to Kangaroo Valley, and we made sure to include Woomargama as the place to drop into along the way, expecially with the Albury bi-pass these days, its a winner!" - Gaz

The publican (new in last 4 years (comment 2008)) has a soft spot for looking after abandoned wildlife - (or the local wildlife knows where to get a good feed in the pub!)
