Cheers Brian. Yes the Pub closed in 1960. With the arrival of road trains, the lack of droving custom brought on the closing of the Pub.

The Junction Hotel which was built in the early 1930s by Jack Sergeant.

The story by author Keith Willey is that Jack Seargent used local drovers to build the Pub in return for clearing their slate at the local store.
