Hotel established c1880.
"Gooday John, I heard on the news today that the 130 year old William Hotel near Taree burnt down last night with a dog rousing the owner, his wife and a lodger - Simpy"
This heritage listed Hotel burn't down on 5/7/2010. With a great history and importance to this town the building site attracted hundreds of onlookers the next day who reminisced about great times at the Pub. - Ed
